This hybrid book contain 49 articles with introductions and discussion questions, as well as extensive pedagogical materials called “conceptual tools,” web resources, and case studies https://arc2.oup-arc.com/access/brown-closser . The readings were selected for undergraduate students for their accessibility. There is an emphasis in the readings of background issues from History and Medical Anthropology rather than premature professional training in Public Health. The OUP editor suggested that anyone planning to teach such a course in the future request an examination copy.
